BACKGROUND AND HISTORY
Rufina Catholic Medical Centre (RCMC), Iperu, is a product of the inspiration of Mr. Kayode Ogunlesi the facilitator, who had conceived the idea more than 10 years ago. This idea came to fruition on the 16th of September, 2015. When Mr Ogunlesi met with the Medical Consultant of the facility, Dr. Kunle Fesobi, who was able to help give the inspiration of RCMC some flesh, as a project to be embarked on from 2017 till 2019, hoping that with the grace of God, it should have been on its feet, meaning that, it should have been able to sustain itself thereon ie from 2020.
From its inception, the Diocese had been carried along, with the Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Albert A. Fasina, giving his blessing for the implementation of the project in Iperu, with full financial support from the donor of the facility, Mr. Kayode Ogunlesi, the Coordination and supervision of Mr. Fola Agboola (Project Manager) and Dr. Kunle Fesobi (Medical Consultant), the Diocesan Health Coordinator, Rev. Fr. Christopher O. Ogunnupebi, been fully involved with the renovation of the buildings, equipping the facility and in the selection of staff for the facility.
Initially, the facility was conceived as a routine operational monthly PHC, without permanent staff and no admission was envisaged, operating just for few days in a month. But the reality on ground, and the desire to make it a fully sustainable facility, necessitated its present Status – A Medical Centre, with permanent staff, daily operations and admission facilities. It is also well equipped for Surgeries.

 Medical Consultations: Rufina Catholic Medical Centre is equipped with 4 Doctors who review patient’s medical history, examines the patient, and makes recommendations as to care and treatment.
 Laboratory Examinations: Clinical pathology tests is where all test are conducted under controlled scientific conditions in the laboratory.
 Ultrasound Scan: This allows Doctors to see problems with organs, vessels, and tissues, with clear images.

 Pharmacy: Our hospital is equipped with pharmacy where medical drugs are dispensed.
