How I started
My shoe making carrier started in 2005 with my brother David and Abraham Cole .During the Christmas season,our parents could not afford to buy us Christmas shoes. David decided to make a pair of shoes, from a pair of Jeans trousers, using our father’s old shoe as a template.
Apprenticeship
Our neighbours admired the craftsmanship and encouraged him to do more and to learn the shoe making. We worked in a shop located at our family house were i assisted him for two years.
In 2007 I had my first client a friend who asked me to repair his shoes. At the age 15, I made my first school sandals and was encouraged by friends, classmate, neighbours, also a few of my class teachers .
My first pair
In 2013 I made my first pair of shoes with the help of David and Mr Tunakin my mentor who helped me improve my skills immensely and in 2014, I decided to make "shoe making" a profession.
